Snowy: Space Trip 1.1

After searching for treasure in Africa, the Middle East and the Mayan jungle in Snowy: Treasure Hunter 2, after having to deal with “the madcap world of food service” in Snowy: Lunch Rush, and after solving puzzles to get to the iceberg in Snowy: Puzzle Islands, the lovable polar bear has finally decided to leave planet earth and go into outer space in Snowy: Space Trip.

In Snowy: Space Trip our cute and lovable protagonist has to fight against an army of nefarious robots. Why does he have to do that, you ask? Why to save his alien friends of course. He has to run and jump and make his way through 80 levels, one more difficult than the other. He must gather all his alien friends, put them in a spaceship and fly them all home safely.

“The more aliens you can collect and return to the rocket ship at once, the more points you'll earn. This isn't easy, as an assortment of mechanical monstrosities will do their best to stop you in your tracks. Luckily, you can use a variety of bonuses to help clear the way, including a pickup that makes Snowy invulnerable and another that clears all enemies from the screen.

To put this fun game to the test you will have to get it off the web (the download weighs in at 12.8MB) and install it on your Windows-powered computer (should work just fine with any version of the Microsoft-developed operating system). Pay attention during the installation process because you may end up with more than you wanted.

You will be asked to change your default search provider, you will be asked if you want to change your homepage, and you will be asked if you want to install Game Box (contains Alawar Entertainment’s catalog of games). If you don’t want to change your homepage or search engine, or if you don’t want to install the Game Box, make sure to opt out.

On the upside, once the installation process completes you have 60 minutes to play the game for free. Once that trial period is over you have to get a license to keep playing. You have more than enough time to realize if you want to keep playing the game or not; to figure out if its worth your hard earned money or not.
